Xapads is the latest vendor to join IAB Europe’s Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF).
Launched in April 2018, the TCF is a cross-industry voluntary standard designed to facilitate compliance with certain provisions of the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR.
There’s a rising need for cookie-independent solutions in response to shifting global trends and regulatory reforms impacting the advertising technology sector, including the transition away from third-party cookies and evolving consumer preferences. With a widespread partner network, Xapads places utmost importance on safeguarding customer data, continuously enhancing its data security and privacy measures to lead the industry forward.
Commenting on this, Nitin Gupta, CEO Xapads said “This collaboration highlights our commitment to upholding the highest standards of data privacy and user consent. It underscores our unwavering commitment to GDPR compliance and user-centric data practices, reinforcing trust with our partners and users. This initiative aligns with our core values of transparency setting a benchmark for responsible digital advertising.”
The TCF, developed by IAB Europe in collaboration with online industry professionals, enables publishers and technology partners to offer users a standardized experience when making privacy choices. It allows users to grant or withhold consent and exercise their ‘right to object’ to data processing. The TCF includes minimum requirements based on Data Protection Authorities’ guidelines and jurisprudence for informing users, providing privacy choices, and respecting those choices.
