Here are some of the trends to look forward to in 2023:
- 5G Rollout & CTV / OTT – All the Telecom providers have started rolling out 5G in Metros, it’s scheduled to be available in India throughout the next few months. With Internet Speed of 10x as compared to 4G connections, there will be a huge increase in the content consumption, specifically in OTT / CTV Space, which will push more Ad Spends in this segment.
- Web 3.0 will become a Reality – While there have been some Metaverse Platforms available, but with Meta’s MultiBillion Dollar investment on Metaverse, we will see a number of Metaverses being launched over this year.
With the immersive experience Metaverse offers, Digital Ad Spends will sky rocket in this segment. - Shift to Lower Funnel – So majority of the Brands / Marketers prefer Exposure / Brand Campaigns to reach their TG, with Performance Campaigns as backup to get the conversions. But the Geo-Political issues and Economic Slowdown will push the Brands to experiment with Performance Campaigns, as preferred communication medium, as to cover both the reach and ROI.
